First Things First
It is important that we meet together before a booking is made, or at the very least speak over the phone. It is really important that you like the photographer on personal level; there would be nothing worse than spending the day with a photographer you can’t stand! The timings and details of your day need to be established in order to make sure it is possible for me to take the pictures that you want whatever the weather! When we meet I will bring you sample albums so you can see the quality of work and more importantly show you what you are paying for!
Pre Wedding Photoshoot

If you book Darren Bell Photography, a pre-wedding shoot is a must and the best way for you to get to know me and start to build rapport! The shoot will be very informal, and during this you will get used to having a camera around, there would be nothing worse than you getting nervous of the camera on your wedding day! The pre-wedding shoot will take about 1-2 hours. Photographs taken at the shoot will make brilliant and beautiful presents for parents (or even a gift to treat yourself). See more by clicking here
The Big
Day
I am usually with the bride an hour or so before the wedding. I photograph the excitement and build up of the day whilstyou get ready.. I quietly take the detail shots of rings, shoes and flowers while you aren’t even aware of me! I (or my assistant) will then move onto the groom, its his day as well as the Brides, so its important to get pictures of the Groom and his Usher Party… If required I can stay right to the end of the evening. All packages include all day photography, and i veer away from charging for additional hours, so there is no worry of me slipping off just after the cake is cut! The best photos can come from the party in the evening!

After the wedding
While you enjoy your honeymoon there is more work to do; all images are analysed and developed using Photoshop and Lightroom. Depending on which choice you make when you made your booking, your images will either be ready for viewing upon your return in person, or your proof book will be sent to you within three weeks of your wedding.
Album Planning & Creation
Once you have seen your pictures you will be sent a proof layout of your album. When we are all happy with it it will be sent to the labs to be handcrafted. Depending upon your choice of album, style and materials they can take anything from 2 weeks to 10 weeks to arrive. Once your album is here and has been personally quality checked you’re album will be sent by secure and trusted delivery, and if you are local I will hand deliver.
